The Platte still is giving it up, Drapeau hasn’t forgotten how to fish since living back east, Kendrick is his usual stuff. Carry on.

Until the 2011 Carp Slam here in the mile high city. They tell me that the competition prohibits fishing the river starting tonight so we got out for one more scouting mission.

Last Victim

It was a productive morning, if Tyler and I are fortunate enough to team up together watch out. Between his fishing and my netting nothing can stop us.

Fishing From Bridge

Hook Your Fish

Step 1: Find a nice bridge that gives you an overhead tactical advantage.

Step 2: Hook said fish from bridge.

Step 3: Have your friend grab your rod, run down to the stream below the bridge.

Step 4: Your friend strips line off the reel and loosens the drag. Grabbing the line above the reel let the rod fall from the bridge, using the drag to slow its fall into your waiting hands.

Step 5: Land the fish, high five one another.

Step 6: Find more bridges.
